Chocolate Nut Crunch

  • 250gm biscuits – chopped
  • 250gm mixed nuts – chopped (cashews, macadamia, etc)
  • 300gm plain chocolate – chopped
  • 100gm butter
  • 140gm golden syrup


  1. Grease and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper
  2. Combine the biscuit crumbs and nuts in a bowl
  3. Place a separate bowl over a pan of hot water and melt the butter, chocolate and syrup in it mixing well to incorporate. Stir until shiny and smooth.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture over the biscuit/nut mix and spread evenly. Set aside to cool and then place in the fridge for a few hours.
  5. Cut into squares
