Dark Chocolate Bars

  • 250gm plain dark chocolate – chopped
  • ¼ cup dried fruit – chopped (raisins/currants/papaya)


  1. Place a heat proof bowl over a pan of hot water and melt whilst stirring
  2. Fill flat chocolate bar moulds (or any rectangular greased container), chocolate mould or sweet moulds half way with chocolate, sprinkle with the chopped fruit and top with the remaining chocolate. Tap the moulds to remove any bubbles
  3. Refrigerate for about 15 minutes, remove from moulds and store in an airtight container.
  4. If you are giving them as gifts, remove from the container when you are ready to wrap and pack them
