Easy Tomato Sauce

  • 1 kg of tomatoes – peeled and diced
  • ¼ cup dhania – minced
  • ¼ cup basil – minced
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • Seasoning to taste (salt and pepper)


  1. Take a medium sized pan; add the olive oil and sauté the garlic in it.
  2. Add the tomatoes stir together and cook until well blended and the tomatoes have broken down.
  3. Remove from heat, allow to cool and blend.
  4. Return to the heat and allow to cook for a few minutes more.
  5. Season with the salt and pepper and continue to cook gently for a few more minutes.
  6. Add the dhania and basil and stir in well. Allow to cook for 3 – 5 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately.
