Tips for Adding MUFAs to Your Meals

For Breakfast

  • Add avocado to an omelette
  • Use nut butter (cashew, almond, peanut) on bread/toast
  • Add toasted nuts and seeds (sunflower, pumpkin, cashews, almonds, etc) to yoghurt, porridge, oatmeal, cereal, etc

For Lunch and Dinner

  • Add avocado slice, olives, nut or seeds to your soup or salad
  • Use sunflower oil or olive oil as a salad dressing
  • Add nuts and seeds to stir fry
  • Add olives or avocados to your sandwiches
  • Add tapenade to your soups, salads, pasta and baked or mashed potatoes

For Snacks

  • Mix various toasted nuts and seeds together to snack on
  • Eat apples or veggie sticks dipped in nut butter
